The 12th International Junior Academy will be held from July 30 – August 1, 2020 in the Training Center of the German Division of IAP in Bonn.

A bus transfer between the Hotel and the venue is organised in the morning and evening. The hotel is located 1,5 km (15 – 20 min walking time) to the venue.

Cancellation is accepted until June 5, 2020. No refund is allowed for cancellations received after these dates.

Bursaries

The German Division of the IAP and the Vladimir Totović – Foundation provides bursaries to support the attendance of residents and trainees in pathology.

 

These includes a free registration, 2 nights’ accommodation at Hotel zur Post (July 30 – August 1, 2020) and travel grants in the amount of € 300,00 for European applicants and € 500,00 for non-europeans.

 

Please send, as appropriate, your CV and application to Martina Schmidt, German Division of the IAP explaining, why the bursary is needed.

To apply for bursaries the following items are necessary:

 

• Submission of a CV and a supporting letter
• A mandatory case presentation
• Submission of an abstract of the case to be presented
• Proof of trainee status
• Presentation of the final report not later than 3 months after the meeting

Only complete application could be considered.

Travelling to Bonn

From the Airport Cologne / Bonn:
The Airport Cologne / Bonn has direct train access. Take the Regionalexpress in direction Koblenz (Track 4 D-F) to the Station Bonn-Oberkassel.

From the Airport Frankfurt:
Take the fast train (ICE) in direction to train Station Siegburg. Take the tramline No. 66 (Ramersdorf) to Station “Konrad-Adenauer Platz”. Switch over to tramline 62 (Oberkassel Süd) to Station Ramersdorf. From there it’s just a 10 minutes’ walk to the hotel. From Siegburg Train Station it’s about 15 minutes driving time to the hotel.
