11th International Junior Academy – Flyer to download
The International Junior Academy is particularly aimed at pathologists in training and in the post training period. It provides a great opportunity to meet with experts and discuss selected topics in depth. In addition, you can meet colleagues from other countries and exchange ideas.
This year’s Summer School includes the following topics:
• Breast Pathology
• Soft Tissue
• Lymphoma
• Uropathology
• Dermatopathology
The German and British Divisions of the IAP and the Vladimir Totović – Foundation provides bursaries to support the attendance of residents and trainees in pathology. These includes a free registration and taking charge of travel expenses. Please send, as appropriate, your CV and application to Martina Schmidt, German Division of the IAP explaining, why the bursary is needed.
To apply for bursaries, the following items are necessary:
• IAP Membership
• Submission of a CV and a supporting letter
• A mandatory case presentation
• Submission of an abstract of the case to be presented
• Proof of trainee status
• Presentation of the final report not later than 3 months after the meeting
• Receipts about travel expenses (receipts mandatory)
Only complete application could be considered. Deadline for application is May 3, 2019

Cancellation

Travelling to Riga
Getting from / to the airport:
Riga Airport is located about 10 km from the city centre.
Bus No.22 or minibus No 222 has a direct service between the airport and the city centre. Taxis cost about EUR 12 – 15, the driving time is about 15 minutes.
