THE COURSE IS FULLY BOOKED!!


The German, British & Hungarian Divisions welcomes you to the 14th International Junior Academy – Summer School to be held in Budapest / Hungary as an in-person event.

As always, this annual Summer School is aimed primarily at young pathologists worldwide as well as for specialists for a re-entry.

Selected topics are discussed in depth by experts and participants are encouraged to fully participate in all the sessions and to meet and have discussions with the experts.

Participants are also encouraged to bring and present interesting cases on any of these topics which will then be discussed by all the attendees at the school.

The Summer School, unlike other Schools of Pathology, also provides the unique opportunity for participants to meet with other young pathologists from many countries and to exchange ideas.

 

Please note that On-site attendance is limited to 30 participants, so registration works on a first come – first saved basis!

Residents need to confirm their status by a formal declaration from the head of department. Your registration cannot be processed without sending the appropriate declaration.
Please note: Trainees will be given priority in the allocation of places.

For registration with accommodation, the office of the German Division of IAP will reserve you a single room at the Radisson Blu Béke Hotel in Budapest for 2 nights from August 8 (Arrival) to August 10, 2024 (Departure) and will settle the costs for accommodation directly with the hotel.

Requests for additional accommodation should be addressed directly to the Hotel on own expenses.

CME Accreditation

The 14th International Junior Academy – Summer School in Budapest, Hungary, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 12 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).

Bursaries

The German Division of the IAP and the Vladimir Totović – Foundation provides 5 bursaries to support residents and trainees in pathology from underserved countries. This includes free registration, 2 nights’ accommodation at Radisson Hotel Béke (August 08 – 10, 2024) and travel grants.

Please upload the documents required for the Bursary Application while registeringf or the course. To apply for bursaries the following items are necessary.

 

  • Submission of a CV and a supporting letter
  • A mandatory case presentation
  • Submission of an abstract of the case to be presented
  • Proof of trainee status
  • Presentation of the final report not later than 1 month after the meeting

Only complete application can be considered.

Please send in your application for bursary no later than April 12, 2024. Later submissions cannot be accepted.
